What we don't do
We don't ask you to create an account. We don't ask for your email. We don't track you across the web. We don't sell, rent, or share any personal data — because we don't collect any to begin with.
The hardship letter generator runs entirely in your browser. The text you type into the form, the letter that comes out, none of it is transmitted to us. When you close the tab, it's gone.
What is collected, by whom
Two third-party services are involved when you visit this site:
Google AdSense
This site runs Google AdSense ads to keep the resources free. AdSense uses cookies and may collect information about your browser, device, IP address, and the pages you visit on this and other sites in order to serve relevant ads. Google Fonts
Our typography uses Google Fonts (Playfair Display and Inter). Loading the fonts may transmit your IP address to Google. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Hosting and security
The site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify's infrastructure may keep standard server-side access logs (IP, timestamp, page requested) for limited periods for security and operational purposes. Their privacy policy is at netlify.com/privacy.
Contact form
If you choose to use the contact form on our Contact page, the form opens your default email program with a pre-filled message to our business address. The message is sent through your own email provider — we don't receive anything until you click send, and the message comes from your email account. We do not store contact form submissions in any database.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged at the top of the homepage.
